December 17, 1934 –  November 8, 2017  COLLINSVILLE-Graveside services for Wanda Rose (Watkins) Hill, 82, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 E. Irving Blvd., Irving, Texas 75060, with Pastor Jerry Don Cheshire officiating. A family visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, November 10, 2017 at Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. Wanda passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas with her family by her side.
Wanda Rose was born on December 17, 1934 in Clarendon, Texas to Andrew and Ruby E. (Hahn) Watkins. She married Cecil Earnest Hill, Jr. in June of 1966 in Amarillo, Texas. Wanda was a Methodist Minister and retired after 20 years of service. She was a loving mother and granny and enjoyed embroidering and crocheting.
Survivors include her daughter, Diana Hardin of Collinsville; grandchildren, Christi Moore and Shannon Rodgers and husband, Robert all of Collinsville; 3 great grandchildren, Staci, Alicia and Amanda; 7 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Ruby Watkins; husband, Cecil Earnest Hill, Jr.; brother, Tom Watkins and sister, Mary Sutterfield. http://videos.lifetributes.com/846532
