Pre-Planning

When you give the gift of pre-planning, your wishes are known and your loved ones can remember your life without having to make decisions at a difficult time.

Why You Should Plan Ahead

Making final arrangement decisions during an emotional time can be stressful for many families. People may disagree, financial arrangements may be complicated, and the wishes of the deceased may not be known. Pre-planning lets you resolve these issues now and free your family to focus on what will be most important then: remembering and celebrating your life.

What does pre-planning include?

Simply put, pre-planning includes all the arrangements that would otherwise be made upon your death—where the service will be held, disposition of the body, music selections, payment options and more. You don’t have to make all your decisions at once, and you can certainly consult your family. But ultimately these are your plans, and our job is to honor the arrangements you select.

Pre-Planning Checklist

To help you get started with pre-planning, we have created a custom form that you can download, print and complete. We recommend you begin this form before coming to meet with us, as it will help you consider different options available for us to discuss. Once your plans are complete, we will keep a copy in our records and recommend you leave copies with those who will be working on your behalf to execute the plans.
