November 13, 1939 –  November 9, 2017  WHITESBORO – Funeral services for Vivian Dale Marple, 77, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, November 13, 2017 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Jerry Billings officiating. Interment will follow at Indian Creek Cemetery near Tioga. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time on Monday. Vivian passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Gainesville Convalescent Center in Gainesville.
She was born on November 13, 1939 in Celina to Jack and Jane (Estes) Crutsinger. Vivian worked for Russell Newman’s Sewing Factory in Pilot Point, the Denton State School, was a beauty operator and a private health sitter. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Aubrey.
Survivors include a daughter, Debra Huffhines of Whitesboro; three grandchildren, Ashley Marple, Kristal Landers and Kristopher Marple; and three great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Jane Crutsinger; sons, James Marple, Wesley Marple and Ricky Marple; son-in-law, Tony Huffhines; and three brothers and a sister.
Pallbearers will be Tim Crutsinger, Dean Haugth, Allen Haugth, Kristopher Marple, Isaac Crutsinger and Ottie Jackson.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the nurses and staff at Hospice Plus of Sherman for the special care they give.
