January 18, 1927 –  June 9, 2006  WHITESBORO â?? Funeral Services for Gertrude R. â??Trudyâ? Millson, 79 will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, June 12, 2006 at First Baptist Church Collinsville with Rev. Wendyl Glenn officiating. Interment will follow at the Collinsville Cemetery directed by Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro. The visitation will be from 5 to 7 P.M. Sunday, June 11, 2006 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Millson passed away Friday, June 09, 2006 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman surrounded by her children.

Trudy was born January 18, 1927 in Dallas, Texas to Jeff D. and Bessie (Cash) Brown. She married Richard Millson on August 24, 1944 in Dallas, Texas. She was a loving mother and grandmother, great-grandmother and cherished wife. Trudy was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Collinsville. She was very caring, a wonderful cook and she loved working in her yard.

Survivors include 6 children; Larry Millson and wife Pat of Whitesboro, Diane Sneed and husband Kent of Ben Wheeler, Ronald Millson of Ft. Worth, Margaret Burkett and husband Sammy of Edgewood, Carol Williams and husband Delman of Grand Prarie and Tim Millson and wife Joulia of Frisco; 13 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren; and a brother, Ray Brown of Mesquite.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Millson, 2 grandchildren, Catherine and Larry Millson, Jr.

Pallbearers are: Ken Sneed, Brian Millson, Heath York, Haydn York, Kyle Williams and Kevin Williams.
