Stacy Jan Sanders Wrenn passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at her home in Highland Village, Texas after a five-year battle with multiple myeloma. Stacy was born in Sherman, Texas on February 15, 1968 to her parents Tommie Ruth (T.R.) Fletcher and Randy Sanders both of Whitesboro. She married her husband Cory Wrenn on November 3, 2001 in Whitesboro and welcomed her son Parker on her birthday in 2004. Stacy attended Whitesboro schools graduating in 1986 as salutatorian of her class. She was a Student Council President, cheerleader, Homecoming Queen, and enjoyed playing basketball and golf. She continued her education at the University of Texas Austin and Texas State University earning a BBA in marketing in 1991 and a MS in Health Care administration from Texas Woman’s University and UT Health Science Center in 1994. She worked in business marketing with Lanier Corporation Business Machines, Heartland Medical Transcription Services, and recently Vizient Corporation as a regional sales manager in medical supplies sales.

She met her husband Cory in 1998 at a singles Bible study group at Fellowship Church in Lewisville where they became leaders of that study group and continued to lead young married Bible Study Home Teams throughout their marriage. As a faithful Longhorn fan, Stacy, Cory and Parker loved to attend football games, basketball games, and baseball games. She was the biggest fan of her nephews’ football games, basketball games and track events. Even as her cancer returned, she fought her way through pain to be at their games cheering for them.

Throughout her battle with cancer, she used her journey as a way to minister to others through her strong Christian faith and love. She found hope and inspiration through her Home Team friends who were constantly by her side throughout her journey. She was an inspiration to many and allowed her faith to lead her wherever God called her. She was courageous, strong, kind, gracious, faithful and dearly loved. We will miss you our precious Stacy.
