Sally Evelyn Durflinger, 88 of Gainesville, Texas passed away at her home on March 15, 2021. She was born on October 26, 1932 in Topeka, Kansas to Marvin Trueblood and Dorothy (Goodwin) Trueblood. Sally was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Gainesville, Texas. She was an avid bridge player, golfer and loved crossword puzzles. There will be a memorial service held at a later date at the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
She is survived by her son, Mike Durflinger and wife, Tracey; grandsons, Brent Durflinger and wife, Haylie, Brandon Durflinger and Justin Wilhoit; granddaughters, Kayla Brasile and husband, Seth; son in law, Dave Potter; grandsons, Jason Potter and Anthony Potter; granddaughters, Christina Cooper and Michelle Holmen and husband, Brian; great-grandchildren, Jason Cooper, Ashlee Cooper, Christopher Holmen, Thomas Holmen, Eliijah Potter, Evelyn Brasile and Raymond Brasile.
Preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Marvin Trueblood; husband, Dale Judy Durflinger and daughter, Debra Potter.

I have many wonderful memories of Sally & Dale, and the trips we took together at Dr. Truitt’s office. A beautiful person!
So sorry to learn of Sally’s passing. We go way back — to Travis AFB in 1965. And then Okinawa and Texas and weeks at Hilton Head for many years and visits to Lake Kiowa. Blessings to Mike and his family.
