Rosina Marie Pelzel Felderhoff, 91, of Gainesville, Texas went home to be with the Lord on March 22, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born March 17, 1929 to Joseph (Joe) and Angela Pelzel in Pilot Point, Texas. She married the love of her life, Leo Felderhoff July 20, 1954 and enjoyed a wonderful life together. They were blessed with a daughter, Darlene and a son, Garry.
Rosina worked for Acme Cleaners for many years and enjoyed interacting with her customers. She was famous for her great laugh which was enjoyed by family and friends her whole life. Each of her grandchildren received an afghan for their graduation with their school colors, a handmade quilt for their wedding and a baby blanket for the birth of their children from their loving great grandmother, “Granny”. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and also cooking. Rosina loved sports and never missed her kids or grandkids games. She was also a huge fan of the Cowboys, Rangers, Mavericks and Longhorns.
Rosina is survived by a daughter; Darlene and husband, Randy Roye, and a son; Garry and wife Stephanie Felderhoff. Grandchildren; Jennifer, Molly, Gina, Jana, JD, Mandy, Jaci, Laci & Jake. Great grandchildren; 15. Brother; Alois Pelzel and wife, Virgina. Also nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband; Leo, brothers; Carl, Joe and Ernest Pelzel. Parents; Joe and Angela Pelzel.
Viewing will be at the Chapel, Meador Funeral Home, 1204 E. California Street, Gainesville on March 25, 2020 from 8:00 am-8:00 pm. Service will be held March 26, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery Pavillion at 11:00 am.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions only immediate family will be allowed at service.
At a later date a Memorial celebration of Life will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Gainesville, Texas.
What a wonderful lady that I had the privilege of meeting and knowing for too short of time. She had such a positive attitude. And I loved her homemade bread.

Rosina was a wonderful lady! She could light up a room with her smile and twinkling eyes. I truly enjoyed my time with her and Leo when I chauffeured them to some of the girls’ softball games. She was a part of the Greatest Generation. Her legacy will live on!
