Ronnie Raedell Whitefield, 73, of Sherman, Texas, formerly of Stephenville, Texas was called to his eternal home on Tuesday, November 23, 2021.

Ronnie was born on June 8, 1948 in Dublin, Texas to Estell Edell and Genevie (Faulkner) Whitefield.  He was a carpenter for most of his life.  Ronnie enjoyed hunting, raising, and riding horses and archery.

He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Linda Whitefield of Sherman; son, Tim Whitefield and significant other, Amy Hinze of Arlington; son, Matt Whitefield and wife, Crystal of Cuero, Texas; four grandchildren, Cord, Collins, Cade, and Cannon; brother, AJ Whitefield and wife, Mary of Midland, and sister, Diane Laird and husband, Ronnie of Ballinger, Texas.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Estell and Genevie Whitefield, and sister, Pat Houska.

Graveside services honoring Ronnie will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Gordonville Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Doyle Henderson.  A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the cemetery.  Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro.
