Rodney Bill Hart, 84, of Whitesboro, Texas was called to his eternal home on Wednesday, November 25, 2020.

Rodney was born on October 19, 1936 in Winfield, Kansas to Elwood and Thelma (Chapman) Hart.  He married Audra Heverns on April 3, 1967 in Miami, Oklahoma.  Rodney was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed woodworking and reading Louis Lamour books.  He worked in the oilfields for over 40 years.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Audra Hart; son, Kenneth Hart and wife Rebecca of Denison; son, Tim Hart of Whitesboro; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Rodney was preceded in death by his parents, Elwood and Thelma Hart, daughter, Jennifer Diane Hart and son, Robert Dewayne Hart.

Graveside services for Rodney will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 27, 2020 at Fairlawn Cemetery in Snyder, Oklahoma, officiated by Rev. Don Russell. No formal visitation is scheduled at this time.
