November 18, 1946 –  October 2, 2015  Graveside Services for Robert Freeman Smalley, 68, of Sadler, Texas, will be held Sunday, October 4, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Sadler Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Henry officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 3rd from 7:00 to 8:00 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel, Whitesboro, Texas. He passed away peacefully Friday, October 2nd at Stonebrook Assisted Living in Denison, Texas. He was born to Charles Freeman and Jewel Delight (Wilkerson) Smalley, Jr. November 18, 1946, in Norman, Oklahoma. He graduated from college with a degree in mechanical engineering and worked for Prescolite Controls in Carrollton, Texas for 19 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Sadler, Texas, and loved serving his Lord. He collected guns, and enjoyed riding Harley motorcycles.
He is survived by his sister, Sandy Dickson, and husband, Bobby of Sadler and two nieces, Kim Hudson of Sadler and DeAnne Garrett of Lewisville; great nieces, Katie and Charlene Hudson, Casey Herring and Paige Garrett; great-great nephew, Zach Herring and great-great niece, Reigan Hudson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Jewel Smalley, Jr.
