June 13, 1952 –  April 2, 2018  Gainesville – On April 2, 2018, early a.m., we lost a truly great man, Rick Cashion. He was at home, had smoked a ham and ribs on Easter, mowed his one acre yard (on a riding mower) Saturday, but he had had pneumonia since February and suffered bouts of very low blood pressure. Both issues caught up with him on Monday morning. To say it was a shock is not an overstatement.
He was born on June 13, 1952 in Sulphur, Oklahoma to Billie Gene Cashion and Marchie Lee (Luke) Cashion. He grew up in Gainesville and graduated from Gainesville High School in 1970.

Rick was a third generation Mason.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Rosemarie, two sons, Ryan and Reese , plus daughter, Ricki Lee Hummel (Cashion)and husband, Mike and their children Revan and Nola Rose. A contrary sister, Barbara Cashion Higgason and husband, Stan. Sister-in-law, Bobbi Beck and husband Bob of Gainesville. Numerous cousins, a couple of aunts, and legions of friends. He will be sorely missed by all.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Meador Funeral Home of Gainesville, on Saturday, April 7, 2018, the memorial service, including a Mason memorial, will begin at 2:00 p.m. http://videos.lifetributes.com/884554
