Richard Darrell Davis, 81, of Collinsville, Texas passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 surrounded by his wife and children.  Richard was born on June 13, 1940 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Ollon Willie and Edith Lee (Walker) Davis.  Richard married Jacquelyn Kay (Hudiburg) Davis in El Paso, Texas.

Richard is survived by his wife Jacquelyn; sons, John Davis (and wife Julie) of Sherman, Texas and Matthew Davis (and wife Candi) of Grapevine, Texas; daughters, Melanie Davis Kirk (and husband Don) of Littleton, Colorado and Lorianne Davis of Collinsville, Texas; grandchildren, Parker, Joseph (and wife Tiffany), Tyler, Kathryn, Sawyer Davis Retana (and husband David), Rylie, Delaney, Steel, Erickson, Samuel and Micah, and great-grandsons Meyer and Wyatt Davis and Trigger Jones.

A family celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor this most loving husband, father and grandfather.  Cremation services will be provided by Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro, Texas
