Olena Jane Murray Hall Foster was born March 31, 1935 in Gainesville Texas. She passed away on February 3, 2021. She was the 2nd daughter of David Osie Murray and Johnnie Jewell Mopus. She was raised in Gainesville Texas and attended Central Baptist Church for over 50 years. Jane worked many years at Linda Jo Shoe Factory and retired from Bealls Department store after 25 years. Jane was a beautiful soul who was faithfully devoted to God, her church community, and her family. She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and friend.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am- 8:00 pm on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville Texas. Graveside service will be on Sunday February 7, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville Texas. Pastor Johnson will be officiating.

Pallbearers: Jordan Hall, Andrew Moody, Trevor Medlock, Michael Bradley, Conner Silman, and Tommie Nicholas.

She is survived by her son, Rodney Hall and wife JoAnn Hall; daughter, DeNita Walden; son, Randell Hall; sisters, Linda Marion and Rita Lynn Smith; brother, Ronnie Murray; and brother, Phillip Murray. Grandchildren: Tommie Nicholas, Tawnya Torrez, John Hall, Amanda Hall-Reiter, Janette Smith, Leslie Trammell, Ashley Jasso, Randi Silmon, Jessica Hall, Jered Hall, and Jordan Hall. 32 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents, Osie and Johnnie Jewell Murray; husband, Lloyd Foster; father of children, R.V. Hall; daughter, Phyllis Nicholas; sister, Dean Childress; and brother-n-laws; Paul Childress and Paul Smith.

In support of our local, state, and federal government including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, social distancing and the wearing of masks while attending the funeral services and visitation will be observed.
