Nancy Jo Striplin, 81, of Collinsville, Texas was called to her eternal home on Friday, December 15, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
Nancy was born on April 7, 1942 in Itasca, Texas to Henderson Houston and Ethel (Mitchell) Hyden. She was a graduate of McKinney High School and Grayson County College. She married Ray Striplin on July 22, 1966 in McKinney, Texas. Nancy worked as a legal secretary. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Ray of Collinsville; son, Ronnie Striplin and wife, Stephanie of Collinsville; granddaughter, Samantha Striplin of Collinsville; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Henderson and Ethel Hyden, Sisters, Eva Jean Bradford, Ruby Pearl Tallant, and Carol Sue Matthews.
A memorial service honoring Nancy will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 29, 2023 at Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro, officiated by Bro. Roger Morton.
Nancy was a beautiful soul. She was always upbeat and shared funny stories. She had a beautiful smile to match her kind heart. We will miss you Nancy.
