Mildred Maxine Jones, 90, of Sadler, Texas was called to her eternal home on Monday, June 29, 2020.
Mildred was born on December 25, 1929 in Sadler, Texas to Roy Earl and Prudence Elizabeth (Redick) McClendon. She married Sammie William Jones on August 7, 1948. Mildred was of the Methodist faith. She loved her family greatly. She enjoyed puzzles, sewing and watching sports, especially basketball.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Lamm and husband, James of Sherman; daughter, Diane Acker and husband, Gene of Sherman; daughter, Tina Malena and husband, David of Whitesboro; sone, Scott Jones and wife, Kim of Sadler; grandchildren, Tony, Bryan, Michael, Bridgett, Robert, Ashley, Tanya, Shawn, Josh, Aaron, Keira, Randy, and Brandon, as well as sixteen great-grandchildren.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Prudence McClendon, husband, Sammie Jones, daughter, Angela Huckabee and sister, Uella.
Graveside services honoring Mildred will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Christian Chapel Cemetery in Sadler, Texas, officiated by Rev. Jerry Henry. There will be a time of visitation for friends and family held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro.
