Mildred Ann Crump, 77 passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on August 10, 2021 in Gainesville, Texas.

Mildred was born on December 10, 1943 in Gainesville, Texas.  She and her father, Sherman Smith, welcomed the new age of Rock N Roll by learning all the new dances.  In 1965, she moved to New Orleans where she enjoyed raising her 3 children and playing in many bowling leagues.  In 1974 she met her soulmate, and many years of happiness was spent until his death in 2007.  Her children and grandchildren were her obsession, and it was shown by all the photographs that littered all of her walls.  She was affectionately known as Maw Maw to 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandkids.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Sherman Smith, Lucille Smith and her soulmate Beecher Crum and grandson Kevin Crump.

Mildred is survived by sons, Doug McReynolds, Larry McReynolds and wife, Merry, Logan Crump and wife, Teresa Crump; daughter, Donna McReynolds; grandsons, Justin Glenn, Robert McReynolds, Alaster Crump and Cadogan Crump; granddaughters, Chelsi Bond, Shelby McReynolds, Casey Ann Alexie and Cami Jo McReynolds.

There will be a Memorial Service on Friday, August 13, 2021 beginning at 2:00 pm at Meador Funeral Home, 1204 E. California Street, Gainesville, Texas.  Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at 1:00 pm.
