November 28, 1930 –  June 8, 2011  WHITESBORO – Funeral Services for Mary Jo (Bean) Turner, 80, will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 10, 2011 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Mike Flanagan officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.Mary went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital – WNJ in Sherman.
She was born on Nov. 28, 1930 in Dexter, Texas to Jim and Mary (Derryberry) Bean. She married the love of her life, J.L. Turner, on July 9, 1951 in Sherman. Mary was a member of the First Baptist Church in Whitesboro. She enjoyed sewing, painting and crafts.
Survivors include her husband, J.L. Turner of Whitesboro; a daughter, Sharon DuBose and husband Glenn of Whitesboro; a son, Jerry Turner of Grand Prairie; 3 grandchildren, Trent Kutch and wife, Britany of Red Oak, Trey Kutch of Whitesboro and Josh Turner of Austin; 2 great-grandchildren, Mason Kutch and Madison Kutch; a brother, Jim Bean and wife, Mary of Whitesboro; and a sister, Frances Hargesheimer of Whitesboro.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Mary Bean; and nine brothers and sisters.
Pallbearers are Trent Kutch, Trey Kutch, Josh Turner, Danny Smith, Dennis Beane and Johnny Greear.
