Martha Katherine Hughes, 76, of Gainesville, Texas passed away on March 26, 2020 at Medical City in Denton, Texas.  Funeral service will be graveside at 10:00 am, Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at Mt Zion Cemetery, 2589 Co Rd 203, Collinsville, TX 76233 with Rev. Terry Barnett officiating.

She was born August 4, 1943 to George Eaf Cox and Cecil Louise (Pilcher) Cox in Tioga, Texas.  She married Kenneth Hughes who preceded her in death in 2015. Martha was an avid quilter and worked as a QA Inspector at Weber Aircraft.

Martha is survived by a sister; Paula Ritchie and husband, Bobby of Gainesville, brothers; Jim Cox of Whitesboro and G. E. Cox and wife, Martha of Callisburg. Numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brothers; Terry Cox and Charlie Cox.
