My condolences to the Madsen clan. Marcie was a wonderful lady! I’m so happy to have known her.
Much love
We always celebrated our birthdays together in Copper Canyon. I will miss our phone chats, she was a true friend.
My deepest symphony to Don and the entire family for your loss. You will meet again in a better place.
Our deepest condolences from me and Lexi. Marcie was a great mother and grandmother. I enjoyed sharing the kitchen with her when we visited! I know she will be missed by all. God speed Marcie and much love to her family and friends that had the privilege of being a part of her life.
Marcie was my very best friend for well over 50 years as we would part many times, only to reconnect just about everywhere our husbands were working. Marcie and I did a lot of cookie baking, a lot of shopping, and a lot of just good times. The hardest time I’ve been without Marcie has been when we moved into Dallas to be closer to our daughter and family, but we always had our weekly phone calls and I will miss those so much — she will always be my “best friend ever!”
Marcie and I became friends when we first met after moving to Dayton, Ohio about 60 years ago. They moved, we moved. This continued for many years until we moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma and Don Madsen called one day to talk to my Don — they were looking for another opportunity to find a nice place to raise their 3 children. So, we got them to come to Tulsa and we were neighbors and best friends for many years (so many I can’t even remember). Then they moved to Texas and a few years later we were sitting in Tulsa alone & decided to move down to Texas. This time we moved to where Don and Marcie lived (Lake Kiowa) and we lived there until our daughter had a grandbaby & we decided to move further down into Dallas. But Marcie still talked on the phone! I will always think of Marcie as my very best friend.
Sorry to hear of Marcie passing. Our husbands worked together at American Airlines for many years.
Enjoyed knowing Marcie and Don after moving to Lake Kiowa.
Prayers to the Madsen.
Our friendship began when Marcie’s dog Hobie would come over to our patio and take my dad’s slippers and everything else and bring them home to her. What fun we had with our Craft Group and lunches in Copper Canyon,Texas. She was a wonderful friend and will truly be missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and family. She was my bestie since 1940’s in David City ,Ne. We were great skaters, and always had a good time. Cherish the Good memories!
