August 14, 1945 –  September 20, 2009  GORDONVILLE-Funeral services for Luellen (Burditt) â??Lueâ? Wood, 64, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Larry Bowers officiating. Visitation will be from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wood passed away at her home in Gordonville on Sunday, September 20, 2009.

Lue was born on August 14, 1945 in Vian, OK to Milton and Alice (Bolin) Burditt. She married Richard Wood on November 9, 1985 in Gordonville. Lue was a loving wife, mother, Memaw, sister and friend.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Wood of Gordonville; 5 daughters, Sherry Echols and husband Jamie of Oklahoma City, OK, Kim Tolleson and husband, Rick McDonald of Whitesboro, Michele Scott and husband, Dale of Wilburton, OK, Rhonda Freeman and husband, Kenneth of Whitesboro and LaDina Howard and husband, Kendell of Sadler, a son, Larry Wood of Whitesboro; 4 sisters, Modene Floyd of Claremore, OK, Colene Mason and husband, Jim of Choctaw, OK, Geri Kirby and husband, Dewayne of Southmayd and Connie Raymond and husband, Ray of Gordonville; 2 brothers, J.D. Burditt and wife, Phyllis of Valley Center, CA and Gene Burditt and wife, Joan of Wilmington, DE; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by a son, Curtis Deon Kelso; 2 brothers, Ernest Burditt and Ronnie Burditt; a brother-in-law, Joe Wood and a sister, Naydene Lambert.
