Lucian (Bud) Cundiff, 86, was born on May 19, 1933, in Grayson County, Texas, to Earl and Eula Cundiff.  Bud married Wanda West in May of 1954, they were married almost 46 years until her passing in March of 2000.  After Wanda’s passing, Bud married Helen Luttmer in July of 2001 and they were married 17 years until her passing in August of 2018.

Bud was in the U.S.A.F. retiring after 20 years of service.  He then worked for another 20 years at Weber Aircraft. But his favorite job of all was driving a school bus for 8 years.  Bud was doing all this and still was maintaining the family farm.  Mr. Cundiff passed away on June 5, 2019, in Pineville, Louisiana.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Michelle Cundiff; 2 grandsons, Adam and Kyle Cundiff, daughter-in-law Wanda Cundiff, and sister-in-law Ann Cundiff.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents; 1st  and 2nd wives Wanda Cundiff and Helen Luttmer Cundiff; son, Stephen Cundiff and brother Gary Cundiff.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 – 5:00 pm, June 9, 2019, at Meador Funeral Home.  There will be a graveside service at 2:00 pm, June 10, 2019, New Rest Haven Cemetery in Gainesville, Texas.
