Kimberly Kay Gibby, 60, of Jacksboro, Texas passed away on July 16, 2020. She was born on December 3, 1959 to Wesley Dean Lunceford and Elsie Pearl (Fisher) Lunceford in Brawley, California.
Kimberly was a member of Jacksboro Christian Missions and Jacksboro Animal Shelter. She loved animals and cooking. Kimberly was Editor of Jacksboro Newspaper and worked in the newspaper industry for over 40 years. Kimberly was also the Jack County Treasurer for 8 years.
Kimberly is survived by: Husband, Mykol Gibby of Jacksboro; Daughters, Melynda Hammons and husband, Greg of Tioga, Texas, Loriann Ward and husband, Phillip of Whitney, Texas and Bethany Brown of Jacksboro, Texas; Son, Chris Brown and wife, Laura of Bowie, Texas; Step-son, Mykol Gibby and wife, Sarah of Wisconsin, Step-mother, Jackie Lunceford; Brothers, Wesley Lunceford and wife, JoJo, Daniel Lunceford and Stoney Smith; Sister, Charlotte Badgley and husband, Jason; Brother, Kelly Baker and wife, Linda. She has six grandchildren; Ashlyn DoByns, Timothy and Shailee Hammons, Alexander Hammons, Gunter Ward, Emery Moore and Mykol Gibby.
She was preceded in death by, Mother, Pearl Smith; Father, Wesley Lunceford; Sister, Pennie Wagnon and Grandson, Austin Lunceford.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Gainesville.
