December 11, 1948 –  September 23, 2004  A Memorial Service will be held for Kenneth Thornton age 55, 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 3, 2004 at Cedar Mills Marina.  Kenneth died Thursday, September 23, 2004 at his residence.
Kenneth was born in San Antonio, Texas to Mr. & Mrs. Carl Thornton on December 11, 1948.  He was production foreman for Valiant Yachts in Cedar Mills Marina in Gordonville, TX  for 20 years.

He married Kathleen Kirby, May 18, 2000 in Gordonville.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Kathleen Thornton of Sherwood Shores; a daughter, Alicia Thornton of Mission Viejo, CA; two step-sons:  Justin Burk of Sherwood Shores and James Burk of Sherman; a step-daughter, Lauren Burk of Sherman and three grandchildren; Emily and Ethan Summers of Sherman and Hanna Gonzalez of Sherwood Shores; and many friends at Valiant Yachts and Cedar Mills Marina.
