September 28, 1947 –  June 27, 2009  WHITESBORO â?? Funeral Services for Julia Lynn â??Judyâ? (Westbrook) Reedy, 61, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Rick Carney and Rev. David Mark King officiating. Interment will follow in Dixie Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2009 at the funeral home.
Judy passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman.

She was born on Sept. 28, 1947 in Gainesville to Joshua C. Westbrook and Flaura Bell (Quirl) Westbrook. Judy graduated from Whitesboro High School and married Frankie Ray Reedy on April 12, 1968 in Whitesboro. Her hobbies included junking, garage sales, costume jewelry and ebay. Judy dearly loved her family and many friends. She never met a stranger and was of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include a daughter, Raegena Phelps of Callisburg, a granddaughter, Kristen Phelps of Callisburg, her father, Rev. Josh â??J.C.â? Westbrook of Denison, 2 sisters, Carolyn Hallford and husband, Louie â??Sonnyâ? of Denison, and Regina Barnett and husband, Barry of Sunnyvale, a brother, Rev. Don Westbrook and wife, Theresa of Denton, 2 sisters-in-law, Pearl Shwadlenak of Gainesville and Peggy Williams of Sanger, 2 brothers-in-law, Billy Reedy of Pottsboro and Gary Knight of Collinsville, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frankie Reedy, her mother, Flaura Westbrook and a grandson, Colton Sidlauskas.

Pallbearers are Steven Phelps, Billy Reedy, II, Michael Hallford, Lance Westbrook, Brian Barnett and Joe Vasquez.

The family extends a very special thanks to the Wilson N. Jones Oncology Dept., the Texas Oncology Center, a very special doctor, Dr. Alex Ehsan and the Whitesboro Nursing Center.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Texas Physicians Cancer Research Center, 2800 Hwy. 75 N., Sherman, TX 75090.
