Joy Moore Long Burleson, 81, of Eustace, TX passed away on June 10th, 2021, at the University Health Hospital of Tyler, TX. Graveside service will be held Thursday, June 17th, 2021, at the New Resthaven Cemetery with Bro. Hollis Parsons officiating. There will be a visitation from 12:00 PM until 1:45 PM Thursday, June 17th at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville.

Joy was born on July 11th, 1939, in Tennessee. She worked as a collection’s agent for many years. Joy loved to read, cook and spend time at home with her husband Ronny. She loved all her family very much including her dog “Jazzy” and she will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years Ronny Burleson of Eustace, TX; daughter Donna Roberts of Canton, TX; daughter Maria Cunningham and husband Chris of Denton; her grandchildren Wemberly and Owen Cunningham; sister-in-law Debbie Munsell of Little Elm, TX. Also survived by her dog, Jazzy.

Joy is preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
