Joseph Francis Dwyer, 79, of Whitesboro, Texas went to his eternal home on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.

Joe was born on August 5, 1939 in Arkansas City, Kansas to Ralph and Doris (Stringer) Dwyer.  He worked for the Railroad and the City of Gainesville.  He loved football and Nascar, being a huge fan of #18 “The Candy Man” Kyle Bush.

He is survived by his son, Robert J. Dwyer of Gainesville, daughter, Jennifer R. Nickel of Whitesboro, daughter, Sunserra M. Weathers of Whitesboro, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Doris Dwyer and son, James F. Dwyer.

A Memorial Gathering for Joe will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro.
