WHITESBORO ? Funeral Services for Jeanette Baum Harris, 79, will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. in First Baptist Church of Whitesboro, Texas with Rev. Mike Flanagan officiating. Interment will follow the service at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro, Texas. All services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro, Texas. There will be no formal visitation service.

She passed away on September 16, 2013 in Whitesboro, Texas.

Jeanette was born on December 13, 1933 in Whitesboro, Texas to G C and Opal (Sanford) Baum. She married Robert Floyd ?Sonny? Harris on March 25, 1956 in Whitesboro, Texas. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Whitesboro, Texas. She loved watching sports. She was also a member of P. E. O, Chapter A. She was the great-granddaughter of the founding father of Whitesboro, Captain Ambrose B. White.

She is survived by her daughter, Jan Brown, and husband, Lynn, of Austin, TX; daughter, Jill West, and husband, Trent, of Whitesboro, TX; and son Phil Harris, and wife, Cynthia, of Whitesboro, TX; brother, Gerald Baum, and wife, Dorothy, of Austin, TX; grandchildren: Taylor Harris, Paige Harris, Payson West, Phoenix West, Amanda Winstead and husband, Tyler, and Cody Brown; and nephews, Greg Baum and Doug Baum.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sonny Harris; and her parents, G C and Opal Baum.

The pallbearers will be Rex Dutton, Lance Dutton, Duane Arnold, Ronnie Reed, Clint McDonald, and Rich Pinkston.
