Jamie Jacquelene Allan, 30 of The Colony, Texas passed away on February 29, 2024.  She was born on March 12, 1993, in Carrollton, Texas to Kenneth and Dawn Poland.  Jamie was employed as a waitress and helped her mother with Momma Bear’s BBQ.  She was a beautiful girl inside and out, was witty, funny and enjoyed some modeling.  Jamie was a great writer and storyteller, loved all types of music, she enjoyed singing in the choir whether it was at school or in church with her grandma.  She was a fabulous cook, loved her family and people, being active with outdoor activities, camping and hiking.

Jamie is survived by her sons, Kaden Shaw and Gabriel Shaw; parents, Ken and Dawn Poland; grandparents, Darrell & Kathy Ludwig and Lee & Lonna Poland; grandmother, Carol Jones; siblings, MiKayla Poland and Tory Kretsinger and a host of family.

Jamie was preceded in death by uncles, James Jones II and Sean Jones; grandpa, James Jones I.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Gainesville.  Celebration of Life held on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at 2:00pm.  400 Aspen Road, Gainesville, Texas.  Please RSVP to Dawn Poland (817)994-6522
