Jackie Marie Turner, 75, of Sadler, Texas was called home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, October 10, 2022.
Jackie was born on August 6, 1947 in Plano, Texas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gordonville. Jackie married Harold Turner on June 17, 1967 in Sherman, Texas. She worked for the Howe School District for over 20 years and for S&S school district as the cafeteria manager for 13 years. She enjoyed crafting, and flower gardening. Jackie loved her family tremendously and cherished each moment she spent with them.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Harold Turner of Sadler; son, Andy Turner and wife, Christi of Waxahachie; son, Brad Turner and wife Katie of Sherman; grandchildren, Hailee Burch, Meagan Malone; and Kylie Jo Turner; great-grandchildren, Abby Malone, Turner Malone and Lynnlee Malone; brother, Jerry Lynn Hestand and dear friend, June Kisting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Dorothy Hestand, brother, Edwin Hestand, brother, Wilbert Hestand and brother, Kenneth Hestand.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made in her honor to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org or American Heart Association at www.heart.org.
Pallbearers will be Michael Malone, Sam Burch, Jason White, Billy Buckaloo, John Barnett and Cotton Kleinert.
Graveside services honoring Jackie will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 14, 2022 at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Sandusky. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro.
I love you so much Aunt Jackie. You will be missed tremendously.

I’m so sorry to hear of Jackie’s passing. She was a sweet sweet lady and I enjoyed doing her hair for as long as I got to. She will be very missed. My condolences to the family.

I have lots of fond memories of Jackie when she worked at S & S. She always had such a great disposition and a smile on her face. She was so sweet to the the children and the faculty. Praying for her family during this difficult time.

I am so sorry, Harold and family. We had great fun at ball games and on band trips. That one trip to the fair when Anthony and Brad were small, was a blast. She will be missed by all who knew her! Prayers!

I have so many memories, form seeing your bright smile in the lunch room when I was little, to see you in town. It always made my day to bump into you randomly & always see that shining spirit. You will be missed so much!
