September 4, 1948 –  June 27, 2013  Funeral services for J.R. “Rusty” Beaver, 64, of Gainesville, will be 2 p.m. Sunday, June 30th at The Church of Jesus Christ with Pastor Arthur Green officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Saturday at Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home. Mr. Beaver died Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Atrium Hospital in Corinth.

J.R. Beaver was born in Gainesville, Texas September 4, 1948, the son of James Robert and Pauline (Morton) Beaver. He was a veteran of the US Army. J.R. married Sheryl Beaver on June 30, 1972. He was a long time employee of Weber Aircraft and was also employed by Industrial Models, Inc. in Gainesville for seventeen years until retiring for health reasons. Rusty was an avid fisherman, hunter and golfer before his illness. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ on Broadway Street.

Survivors include his wife, Sheryl Lynn Beaver of Gainesville; son, Jason Russell Beaver of Brazoria; daughters, Leslie Michelle Mitchell of Gainesville and Regina Marie Camberos of Gainesville; grandchildren, Joseph Russell Beaver, Jacob Roel Vasquez, Katherine Anna Marie Beaver, Zachary John Griffin, Fabian Noel Camberos and Zoe Marie Camberos; brother, James Michael Beaver of Gainesville and sister, Pattie Sue Stinnett of Gainesville. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Barbara Gayle Wilson.
