February 13, 1959 – August 7, 2017 Glen Dale Wilkerson, 58 of Arlington, Texas passed away on August 7, 2017 in Mansfield, Texas. The visitation and memorial service for Glen’s friends and work associates is Saturday, August 19, from 10 am to 12 noon in the chapel of the First United Methodist Church in Cedar Hill. Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro, Texas is in charge of cremation arrangements.Glen was born to Ted and Georgia Lee (Turner) Wilkerson on February 13, 1959 in Ada, Oklahoma. He was raised in Whitesboro and graduated from Whitesboro High School in 1976 and earned an associate’s degree at Grayson County College, Denison, Texas. Glen worked at Lockheed Martin for over 32 years and retired due to health. He was an avid weapon enthusiast. He loved science fiction movies and memorabilia and was a member of “SCA”, the Society of Creative Anachronisms, re-enactments of mid-evil times.
Glen is survived by his sister, Glenda Coulson and husband, Sandy of Whitesboro and nieces, Wendy Crow and husband, James of Aubrey and Bonnie Coulson of Sherman and nephew, Turner Coulson of San Marcos, Texas, as well as a great-nephew, Cameron Crow.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Georgia Wilkerson and nephew, Cameron Coulson.
