George Scott Roberts,48, of Gainesville passed away on January 19, 2020 at his residence. The memorial gathering will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, January 31, 2020 at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville.
Scott was born on June 25, 1971 in Chicago, Illinois to George and Vita Roberts. Scott graduated from Gainesville High School. He was a molder for API here in Gainesville. Scott enjoyed building model cars; he loved music and most of all he loved going to the lake and spending time with his family and friends.
Scott is survived by his Aunt Barbara Swarner of Gainesville, TX, Uncles Ben Wright of New Hope, TX and Scott Wright of Sherman, TX; son Jon-Kelly Oliver and his close friend T.J. Kallhoff of Gainesville, TX and numerous cousins and many wonderful friends. He never met a stranger and became friends with whoever he met.
He is preceded in death by his parents and Cousin Michael Wright.
Cremation arrangements are under the director of Meador Funeral Home.
Scott was a childhood friend we grew up together loved him like a brother my heart is broken.
