September 14, 1952 –  July 22, 2017  Gary Lynn Inman passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017 at his residence in Gainesville, TX. He was born in Fairview, Oklahoma to Lilburn and Margaret Rose Conaway Inman on September 14, 1952. He was raised at the Conaway family home and attended Cheyenne Valley school and Waynoka High School, graduating in 1970. Gary worked in many occupations – as trucker and dispatcher, fence builder with his family’s business, caretaker for the Whitlaw ranch, and heavy equipment operator for 14 years for Major County Oklahoma and five years for Garvin County Oklahoma. He retired from Garvin County January 2015. He married Marcia Lynn Gilbreath in Waynoka, Oklahoma October 7, 2011, and the couple made their home near Gainesville, Texas. In retirement Gary served as volunteer for the VISTO foodbank in Gainesville and enjoyed working on church projects and fundraisers for St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 28th at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church with Father Jeff Stubbs officiating. A scattering service will be held at a later date at his home place in Oklahoma. Cremation is under the direction of Meador Funeral Home, Gainesville.

Survivors include his wife, Marcia Inman of Gainesville, TX; children, Chad Inman of Amarillo, TX, Melanie Inman Padilla of Amarillo, TX and Diana May of Helena, OK; siblings, Tommy Inman and wife, Elizabeth of Skiatook, OK, James Inman and wife, Sharon of Waynoka, OK and LaRhonda Inman Rudd and husband, Randy of Ponca City, OK; grandchildren, Jackeline, Sierra and Noah Inman, Emma and Jordan Padilla and Baileigh Padilla Miller, Cameron Weaver and Autumn May, great-grandchild, Lincoln Miller and another on the way and many nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gregg Inman; and a grandchild, Mayola Inman.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to the VISTO foodbank.
