It’s been my honor to have been part of Fred’s (Pop’s) caregiving team for the past three years. It’s also an honor to call him my friend. I grew to think of him as family. One of my favorite memories was taking a little day trip to the American Legion on Lake Texoma at Pottsboro where he became a Legionair that day. We spent the entire afternoon sitting on the deck watching the boat’s go by, meeting new people, enjoying being at the Lake. He had such a nice time and it thrilled me he became a long overdue Legionair as his brothers were. I loved and respected him. RIP my dear friend. ❤️
Pops in my many years of knowing my Friend Neal and my Boss it was always a pleasure seeing you at the projects with good company or at the Ranch. You will be missed sir. Enjoy the after life I am sure we will meet again and share story’s.My you Rest In Peace. God Speed sir.
My deepest condolences to you and your loved ones. May peace be with you in this difficult time.
Miss you Bub.
Thinking of you in this time.
Fred was the kindest, sweetest man you would ever want to know. He showed me what love was all about when he loved his wife, who lost her ability to speak through Alzheimer’s Disease, in word and deed past her death and even as he was facing his own death. Every night he said goodnight to her picture and gave her a kiss. Often he would say, “I’ll see you soon”. He truly loved the “girls” who cared for him and it was a privledge to know him and my life was enriched and changed forever by knowing him, caring for him and loving him.
Dear Fred, I met you once over video cam. While I never had the privilege to meet you in person, your legacy and reflection of character lives large in your children and relatives for whom I have the deepest respect. May the Hildebrandt family accept my condolences for their loss.
Neal, I was saddened to hear about the loss of your dad. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
Our condolences are with you and yours.
You will be missed by all.
My condolences to the family. Praying for you all.
