July 10, 1946 –  December 3, 2017  WHITESBORO-Frank Edward Quick born July 10, 1946 and passed away on December 3, 2017. Frank (Pappy) Quick died after a long and hard illness. He was born to Racel and Aline Quick. In 1968 he married Diana and they shared 49 ½ years of married life.
Frank is survived by 2 daughters, Raelene Mitcheson and her husband, Johnny and Tonya Yanez and domestic partner, Kevin Mitchell; several grandchildren, Clint, Moriah, Carlos, Selene and her husband, Devon, Mariana and Mateo and one great granddaughter, Fynlee. He is also survived by brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Ila Quick; sister, Sue Engel and husband, Gary and sister, Joann Quick.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father and sister.
Frank was a Vietnam Veteran. He loved fast cars, trikes, dune buggies and the challenges of the wrecker. He loved the adrenaline rush and the challenges of the wrecker business. He built Frank’s body shop.
Frank loved helping people. Many times, he would bring people home if they had been in an accident until their family could get to them, his family shared many meals with complete strangers. Frank loved supporting the local volunteer fire departments and helped in any way he could to support the local community.
On Sunday, December 17, 2017 there will be a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. at Mt Tabor Cemetery in Sandusky. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro.
