January 10, 1923 –  December 10, 2017  Eva W. “Evaline” Clinkenbeard died December 10, 2017, one month short of her 95th birthday. She was a resident of Pecan Tree Nursing Facility for the last five years of the 70 years residing in Gainesville. Her first introduction to Gainesville came when she worked at Camp Howze during WWII. She was born January 10, 1923 in Calico Rock, Izard County, AR (her children always suspected that that was a made-up name, but it was indeed on the map, even back then!). She moved with her family to Oklahoma during the Great Depression and continued to reside in Fletcher until her marriage to M. A. “Clink” Clinkenbeard in 1944. That union produced four children: Phillip, Michael, Susan, and Stephen. The marriage dissolved in 1970 and Mr. Clinkenbeard died in 1993. She was employed at various assembly corporations after that time. Evaline was a long-time member of First Assembly of God Church where she was involved with various ministries and where she developed many close friendships, which have endured through the years.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 13th at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville with Rev. Robert J. Kelley officiating. Private interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. No visitation is planned.

Mrs. Clinkenbeard was preceded in death by her parents, William T. Conrad and Edith (Jefferey) Conrad, and two older brothers, Howard and Harold. Also preceding her in death were sons Stephen (1975) and Phillip (2013). She is survived by son, Michael, of Gainesville; daughter, Susan Smith and husband, Purcell, of Plano, TX; her sister, Carolyn Jones of Fletcher, OK, and several nieces and nephews. Many close friends will also miss her greatly. She was totally devoted to her Lord Jesus Christ, her family, and friends. http://videos.lifetributes.com/854133
