October 16, 1932 –  February 27, 2018  Collinsville – Funeral services for Eloise Lowry, 85, of Collinsville, Texas will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Meador Funeral Home Whitesboro, with Ricky Patterson officiating. Interment will follow at Collinsville Cemetery. A visitation will be held Friday, March 2, 2018 from 7:00 to 8:00 PM.She passed away on February 27, 2018 at Hamilton Hospital in Olney, Texas.
She was born in Collinsville, Texas to James Henry and Edith May (Cavin) Adams on October 16, 1932. She married Henry Luther Lowry in Collinsville on December 16, 1989. Eloise worked for 17 years for Collinsville Nursing Center as a nurse’s aide. She was a member of the Concord Church of Christ in Gainesville. Eloise enjoyed reading, playing board games, playing dominoes and she loved to spend time with her family.
She is survived by son, David Mark Hampton and wife, Cheyenne of Sherman, son, Blake Adams of Loving, daughter, Tami Garrett and husband, Kris of Loving, brother, Marvin Adams and wife, Nancy of Collinsville, sister, Emma Irene Adams of Loving, grandchildren, Erica Ashford, Heather Hampton, Michelle Day, Christina Hampton, Jason Hampton, great-grandchildren, Kyle Weston, Tyler Bunch and Kaley Adams.
Eloise was preceded in death by her parents, James Henry and Edith Adams, husband, Luther Lowry, son, Allen Dale Hampton, brother, Roy Adams, two sisters, Norma Booker and Winona Penn.
