November 14, 1928 –  March 4, 2018  Ella “Lou” Genevieve Davis, 89, died Sunday, March 4, 2018 in Gainesville. Lou was born November 14, 1928 in Comanche County, Oklahoma to Bertram and Minnie (Hensley) Brawdy. She was a homemaker who loved her children and grandchildren. She was a Dallas Cowboys fan and loved fishing and camping. Lou was a longtime member of Southside Baptist Church.
Funeral Services will be held at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7th with Rev. Larry Eberhart officiating. Michael Carriker, Lonnie Ing, Clayton Bryant, Jamey Bryant, Daulton Ing, Payton Ing and Chance Milligan will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.

Survivors include daughters, Pearl Medlen of Gainesville, Lou Ann Koetter and husband John of Gainesville and Nancy Nottingham and husband, Tommy of Gainesville; daughter by choice, Alice Brown of Gainesville; six grandchildren, Michael Carriker, Cindy Lee, Lonnie Ing, Tonya Bryant, Cheryl Medlen and Connie Craft; eighteen great-grandchildren and seven-great-great-grandchildren. Lou was preceded in death by her parents Bert and Minnie Brawdy; seven brothers; two sisters and two grandsons, Kevin Carriker and David Carriker
