March 17, 1927 –  March 6, 2013  COLLINSVILLE ? Funeral services for Edna Goss, 85, will be held Friday, March 8, 2013, at 10 a.m., at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, Texas. Interment will follow the service at New Rest Haven Cemetery in Gainesville, Texas. There will be no visitation services.
She passed away on March 6, 2013 in Collinsville, Texas.

Edna was born on March 17, 1927 to James Dudley and Metta (Bunch) Smith in Powderly, Texas. She married William R. Goss on August 5, 1946 in McAlister, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Collinsville Church of Christ. She loved to read, sew and crochet.

She is survived by her daughters: Mary Roy and husband, Wayne, of Bastrop, Texas; and Terri Haralson and husband, Dana, of Greenville, TX; two granddaughters: Rebecca Crawford and husband, Kevin, of Lufkin, TX; and Danielle Haralson of Greenville, TX; brother, E L Smith and wife, Karen, of Dekalb, IL; and sister, Ruth Hutto, of Garrison, TX; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dudley and Metta Smith; her husband, William Goss; and her brother, Lloyd Smith.
