October 4, 1934 –  July 21, 2017  Celebration of Life Services for Dorothy “Dottie” Marie Anthony, 82 of Whitesboro, Texas will be held Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at 3636 Rodgers Road, Whitesboro, Texas. She passed away Friday, July 21, 2017 at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, Texas with her loving family by her side.Dottie was born to Allen and Edna (Trantow) Jarvis on October 4, 1934 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Crafts were her passion. She enjoyed scrapbooking, sewing and ceramics. Dottie was a master at coloring books. She loved to bake and enjoyed the family dinners and celebrations. She enjoyed shopping, especially going to trade days and festivals.
She is survived by her daughters, Sandy Boggs and husband, John of Whitesboro and Kathy Howell and husband, Kenny of Mandeville, LA; sons, Ron Hitchcock and wife, Cathy of Melissa and Tom Hitchcock of California and son-in-law, Roger Woolsey of Gordonville; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and 2 brothers, Don Jarvis and Armond Jarvis.
Dottie was preceded in death by her parents, Allen & Edna Jarvis, daughters, Joyce Woolsey and Debbie Zion and one brother, Roy Jarvis.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to donors local Home Hospice.
