Donna Marie McDonald Evans, 73 of Gainesville, Texas passed away on March 22, 2024. She was born on January 9, 1951, in Cumberland, Maryland to James Lester McDonald, Sr. and Rita May (Kifer) McDonald. Donna married David Sanford Evans on December 18, 1982. She was employed by Walmart in Gainesville, Texas. Donna was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Gainesville, Texas.
Donna is survived by her husband, David Evans; children, Ritchie Evans, Jana Turbeville, Bridget Heinold, Chelsea Hobbs; grandchildren, Bradlee Tompkins, Jordan Gonzalez, Brandon Richards, Sheldon Heinold, Cody Henneke, Jacob Heinold, Tripp Hobbs, Hayes Hobbs, Eli Hobbs and Claire Hobbs; 16 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews; siblings, Randy Shiplet and Jim McDonald.
Preceded in death by her parents, James and Rita McDonald; Sherry Stidham, Charles McDonald and Sandy McDonald.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Gainesville. At this time no services are scheduled.

I’m sorry to see this about Donna.. she was always smiling anytime I.saw her. I visited with her many times in Walmart. I know the family will miss her. Fly high with the Angels. If you see my Angel up there give him a big hug for me.
