July 23, 1932 – January 7, 2008 WHITESBORO รข?? Graveside services for Daisy R. Nixon, 75, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at Collinsville Cemetery officiated by Dr. Phil Coats. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. There will not be a formal visitation time.
Mrs. Nixon passed away Monday, January 07, 2008 at her home in Whitesboro.
Daisy was born on July 23, 1932 in Dallas, Texas to Oliver Ray and Laura (Brooks) Ray. She married Arthur Nixon, III, on November 6, 1959 in Oak Cliff, Texas.
Survivors include; Sons Arthur Nixon, IV and wife Donna of Whitesboro and Benton Nixon of Atlanta, GA; a grand-daughter, Hannah Nixon of Whitesboro; a grand-son, Arthur Nixon, V of Whitesboro; a brother, Tom Ray of Shreveport, LA and three step-daughters, Cathy Nixon of Arlington, Susan Bridges of Garland and Diane Greeson of Duncanville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Laura Ray and her husband, Arthur Nixon, III.
