Cory Lee Wayne Petty, 19, was called to his eternal home on Saturday, August 31, 2019.
Cory was born on February 23, 2000 in Sherman, Texas to Charles Lee and Leah (Furrh) Petty. He was a graduate of Howe High School. Cory loved motorcycles, was a member of the No Rules Riders Brothers of the South. His father was his best friend, he was a true Daddy’s boy.
He is survived by his parents, Charles and Leah Petty, son, Tucker Lee Petty-Flatten, daughter on the way, Andrea, brother, Cameron Petty, sister, Skylar Petty, grandparents, Linda Medders, Leo Furrh Sr., Tammy and Myrle Rhea, Charles Petty, great-grandparents, Betty Kranning and R.B. Hammer, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A visitation honoring Cory will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Monday, September 9, 2019 at Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro.
