WHITESBORO ? Funeral services for Clarice ?Larae? Jack, 83, will be held Friday, October 18, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. in the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, Texas with Mike Bentley officiating. Interment will follow the service at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro, Texas. Visitation services will be held Thursday, October 17, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

He passed away in Sherman, Texas on October 15, 2013.

Larae was born on December 14, 1929 in Lamesa, Texas to Barney Celestine and Matti Lee (Giles) Jack. He married Nelda J. Rushing on December 25, 1952 in Lamesa, Texas. He was a member of the North Union Church of Christ. He was a master plumber. He was a Korean War veteran (U. S. Army). He loved to fish and enjoy wood-working.

He is survived by his sons: Terry Larae Jack, and wife, Mary, of Fort Worth; Danny Cole Jack of Whitesboro; and Stacy Alan Jack, and wife, Mika, of Sadler; five grandchildren: David Jack, Laurie Jack, Jared Jack, Mikal Jack and Blake Jack; three great-grandchildren: Kellan Jack, Tristen Jack and Brayden Jack; and brother: Ronnie Jack of Whitesboro, TX;.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nelda Jack; and his parents, Barney and Matti Lee Jack; and his siblings: Bobby, Billy, Jerry and Rita.

The pallbearers will be David Jack, Jared Jack, DuWayne Leathers; Jerald Turnham, Mikal Jack and Blake Jack.

Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Jack, Jeremy Jack, Greg Berry, and Craig Berry.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be contributed to Heart to Heart Hospice, 600 East Taylor, Ste. 3005, Sherman, TX 75090.
