Christopher Alan Lindsay, 39, of Pilot Point, Texas passed away June 3, 2023, at Harris Methodist Hospital in Ft Worth, Texas. He was born in Gainesville, Texas on December 24, 1983. Chris graduated from Pilot Point High School in 2002 and then attended North Central Texas College.

Chris loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed online gaming and listening to all genres of music. His greatest passion was his black Mustang which he loved to race.

Chris was diagnosed with Emery Dreifuss Muscular Dystrophy at age 2 and bravely faced many challenges his entire life. He required a heart transplant at age 21 and did an amazing job taking good care of this special gift for eighteen years. We extend our deepest gratitude to his doctors, nurses and other medical specialist who supported Chris over the years.

He is survived by his mother, Pam Denison, stepfather, Larry Denison, his father, Ed Lindsay, and stepmother Kathy Lindsay. Sister Gina Zafar and husband Jay, stepbrothers, Chris Denison and wife Lauren, Jason Denison and wife Jamie, and Jon Denison, stepsisters, Misty Hall and husband, Joe, Sunshine Maffi and husband, John, grandfather Jim Loving and wife Dorothy, his cousin Derek King who was like a brother to him, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Bonnie Loving; paternal grandmother, Joyce Shedeck; great-grandmother, Virginia Lindsey.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Meador Funeral Home with burial to follow at Liberty Cemetery in Gordonville, Texas.
