Charles Wilmer Bishop, 81 a long-time resident of Fairfield, Texas passed away on June 2, 2022 peacefully surrounded by his family.  He was born June 16, 1940 in Butler, Texas to Floyd Bishop and Dorothy (Creel) Bishop.  Charles married Eva Bell (Dougherty) Bishop. He enjoyed being outdoors going fishing with his family and friends, working in his garden and raising chickens.

Charles is survived by son, Darren D. Bishop and wife, Kim; daughter, Charlene Ali and husband, Ramzan (Johnny); son, Delbert Dee Bishop and wife, Karin; grandchildren, Amy, Julie, Jessica, Rehan, Zeshan, Rizwan, Sarah, Ashley, Ryan, Isaac & Max; 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granchild; brother, Lonnie Bishop and wife, Kay.

Preceded in death by his parents and wife, Eva Bell Bishop. Siblings that have preceded him in death, J. B. Bishop, Dorothy Kear, Floyd Bishop and J. F. Bishop.
