August 2, 1923 –  November 13, 2015  GORDONVILLE – Charles Gordon Kincaid, Sr., 92, of Gordonville passed away peacefully on November 13, 2015 surrounded by his family. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home, Whitesboro, Texas. He was born on August 2, 1923 in Morristown, New Jersey, to Howard Gordon Kincaid and Evelyn Blanche (Smith) Kincaid. Charles married Mary Elizabeth Armstrong on May 10, 1953 in Menlo Park, CA. He served in the United States Army Corp of Engineers during World War II. Charles went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, and worked as an engineer throughout his life, while living in numerous countries. He was of the Methodist Faith. Charles was a member of the Gordonville Masonic Lodge #536 A.F. & A.M., the Silentia Lodge #168 F. & A.M., and a Shriner for 60 years. He was a resident and member of the Gainesville Boat Club at Gordonville, Texas. He enjoyed woodworking and electronics. Charles will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He touched many lives while on this earth, and was always there to help those in need. Charles is survived by two daughters, Katharine Kincaid of Pennsylvania, and Susan Kincaid of Texas; a son, Charles Gordon Kincaid, Jr., of Florida; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, June Fallon of California; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Evelyn Kincaid, a brother, Richard Kincaid, and spouse, Mary Elizabeth (Armstrong) Kincaid.
