Carrol Gean (C.G.) Reeves,84, of Marysville passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at his residence with his family by his side. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the Marysville Baptist Church with Bro. John Brooks officiating with burial to follow with Military Honors and Masonic Rites at the Marysville Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville.

C.G. was born on July 12, 1939, to Woodrow and Allie Mae Reeves in Ozark, Arkansas. He married Bobbie McElroy on January 8^th, 1969, in Weatherford, Tx. C.G. served in the United States Army and served in Vietnam. He retired from Weber Aircraft, was a lifelong rancher and was a brickmason, having owned his own business Reeves Masonry. C.G. was a member on the Marysville Baptist Church and also was a member of the Fish Creek Lodge in Marysville.

He is survived by his daughter Jannet Fleitman and husband Sam of Lakewood Village, daughter Jennifer Reeves of Muenster, daughter Brenda Linares and husband Manuel of Altus, Oklahoma; sons Glenn Connell of Tulsa, OK and Bob Connell of Whitesboro; grandson Michael Connell; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters Reba Walden of Sulphur, Ok and Barbara Klein of Reno, Nevada; brother Johnie Reeves of Baird, TX.

C.G. is preceded in death by his wife Bobbie Reeves; parents Woodrow Reeves and Allie Mae (Suttliff) Reeves; brother Herbert Reeves; daughter Cathy Walker; grandson Travis Walker; daughter-in-law Penny Connell.
