Carolyn Ann Sikes, 66, of Gainesville passed away on November 28, 2020 at her home in Gainesville, Texas. There will be a Memorial Service on December 2, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Meador Funeral Home Chapel, 1204 E. California Street, Gainesville, Texas. Rev. Larry Kremlin will be officiating the service.
Carolyn was born November 13, 1954 to Cloyce Gordon and Mary Margaret (Dishman) Gordon in Gainesville, Texas. She worked as a Lab Tech/Dental Assistant. Carolyn loved cats, animals and plants and was an avid shopper. Carolyn was also a wonderful grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Sikes; Son, Derek Sikes of Sanger, Texas; Daughter in Law, Krystle Thompson of Corinth, Texas; grandchildren, Kenna Sikes and Kate Sikes of Corinth, Texas; brother and sister in law Randy and Donna Sikes and brother in law, Keith Sikes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cloyce and Mary Margaret Gordon.
In support of our local, state, and federal government including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, social distancing and the wearing of masks while attending the funeral services and visitation will be observed.

Steve, Carolyn was such a Sweetheart, she will be missed. I worked with her at Dr. Powell’s office and she became a sweet friend to me. Carolyn had such a Sweet Smile for everyone and a great laugh when something was funny to her. Such a caring person. I’m so sorry for your and your families loss.
