Gordonville – Graveside services for Cameron Mitchell Denton, 31, of Gordonville, Texas will be held at Gordonville Cemetery on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 2:00 PM officiated by Rev. Mike Flanagan. A visitation will be held at Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro on Monday, May 7, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.Cameron passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018.

He was born on February 3, 1987 in Borger, Texas to Guy Byron Denton and Linda (Stone) Pierce. He worked in the Oilfield industry. Cameron loved life at the lake and working out, but he found his greatest peace and tranquility sitting outside around a campfire listening to country music and talking with his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Linda Pierce and stepfather, Robert Pierce of Gordonville, twin brother, Chris Denton of Gordonville, brother, Dylan McKinney of Whitesboro, sister, Brittni Denton of Stephenville, sister, Kyla Baucom and husband, Shane of Amarillo, grandmother, Linda Cone of Amarillo, grandmother, Anna Pierce of Gordonville, Uncle, Tony Stone of Amarillo, Uncle, Keith Pierce and wife, Julianne, Uncle, Mark Cone, nieces, Lexee, Katee, Savanna, Brielle and nephews, Blaze, Jax and Alexander as well as other numerous family and friends

He was proceeded in death by his father, Guy Denton and great-grandmother Lorene Cone.
